This book
starts out as all good books do, with a craving for cheese! I mean, what else
can you expect from a Montgomery Ink book, but no, really, this book combines
friends to lovers, which this branch of the Montgomery cult, uh, clan, does
extremely well (except for Liam, but then again, he was first, and didn’t
realize his younger siblings would all fall off script, little brats) and a
fake engagement. Dearest Aaron, reader of romance novels, advice giver on all
things romantic, has been hiding his attraction and breaking all the tenants
of romance, for Madison. Madison, quiet rebel, peace keeper, and co-reader of
romance novels, falls into the same trap. You can’t see what is right in
front of you when it is you involved. Of course these two have fun, of course
these two know each other, and of course these two fall in love. While the
bad guy *snicker* was never in doubt, and the inevitable trip to the hospital
was a forgone conclusion, the how, where, why, and who were changed up. The
last of the Boulder Montgomery’s has their HEA, and onto Fort Collins next! |
