The narrator was perfect for this story! Calm, controlled, yet, still able to show deep emotions as the story needed

Valentina and Dante were a perfect match, though it didn’t seem that way at first. Both had relationships that didn’t turn out as they planned, and that shaped them for their relationship. Of course, it shaped them in opposite ways, with Dante holding back, and Val tired of holding back. What did grow was a mutual attraction and respect for each other. As much as it frustrated him, Val’s backbone garnered Dante’s respect, and Dante’s respect of Val, allowed her to grow with her feelings of him. In the end, the bond they shared, without the words needed, was strong and pulsing with emotions
