Henry and
Win fell together when they were both starting a new phase of their life. She
was hopeful, he was not. That is the trend of their relationship, she keeps
hoping for more and he keeps shutting her down. It takes the whole book from
him to come to his senses and stop pushing her away. Now, he holds he close
almost the whole book, so you really want to up slap him at those few moments
he decides to be what he thinks is noble. Win doesn’t give up, on anything.
People, relationships, dreams, but she is also a realist. When two people
with addiction issues meet, one optimist, the other pessimist, they are going
to be disagreements. These two work through them all, it just takes the
pessimist a little longer to get onboard |
I would
also like to point out that my tween years reading, and re-reading, Trixie
Belding mysteries had me figuring out the mystery in the book before the
others! Also, the narration was wonderful with all the characters dialogue and
distinct personalities. It was awesome to see where Noah Lawless ended up,
and to see Michael Malone outside of the M&M world |
