King Midas by Skye Warren

Anita and Raoul came to us with dark shadows around them. Even in the glittering lights, you were looking at them through a tunnel, as they were surrounded by black. Danger’s First Kiss by Aleatha Romig

Dark and gritty is the life that Lorna is used to living. Her brother helps her out of that life for one night, and that one night leads to the start of something more. No more dark and gritty, but the beginning, maybe, of something sparkling and shadowed

The Swan Princess by Natasha Knight

Yes! Some Benedetti prologue to a time before Lucia and Salvatore were ‘placed’ together. So satisfying to see Salvatore and Dominic as the young men they were, free for a night, but still carrying some of life’s burdens. Lucia still wound up, waiting for that moment when he life begins, and not for the better. A quick glimpse, a simple moment, but it carried so much emotion and foreboding!
