  gritty is the life that Lorna is used to living. Her brother helps her out of
  that life for one night, and that one night leads to the start of something
  more. No more dark and gritty, but the beginning, maybe, of something
  sparkling and shadowed |

Yes! Some Benedetti prologue to a time before Lucia and Salvatore were ‘placed’ together. So satisfying to see Salvatore and Dominic as the young men they were, free for a night, but still carrying some of life’s burdens. Lucia still wound up, waiting for that moment when he life begins, and not for the better. A quick glimpse, a simple moment, but it carried so much emotion and foreboding!
