I loved the heroine in this story! She was strong, independent, unapologetic, and she kicked butt. She had her vulnerabilities, but she did what she had to do to get the job done or get through life. No regrets, no second guesses. Dax was her compliment, her other half, her comfort, and her spark. He was the same to her, and they worked so well together, lived so well together, they forget to remember how to just be together. No huge heartbreak, but no small obstacles, just time and perspective to realize what matters and what you need to be happy in life. Luckily, living dangerously didn’t rob these two of their HEA 😊
