Wow, my
heart was beating out of my chest by the end of the book!
Scarlett’s
life is pretty upfront, what you see is what it is. But her thoughts and
feelings run deep, and even what you see isn’t surface or to be dismissed.
Legend has many layers and a sordid past, and you definitely aren’t seeing or
knowing any of him right away. But as his layers start to be revealed, you
begin to understand some of what has made him who he is and why he acts as he
  does
One thing
is clear, there is danger for both of them. They have enough points that are
touching or intersecting, that this is not going to be a smooth or simple
love story. There is going to be some chaos, some pain, and some hurt. Lucky
for both Scarlett and Legend, they have friends and support networks that
seem to their best interests at heart, even if their methods are maddening or
not what they want. Can’t wait for the next installment in this trilogy to
  see what happens next |
