Jesse and Jessica seem perfect
together. They are opposite and none of their pieces fit. A few of their pieces
fit, but overall, the base of who they are as people, don’t fit. Jesse is
extremely clear in who he is, what he wants, and how he feels. He has no
problem articulating that and makes it clear to Jessica at every turn. Jessica
has spent so much of her life adjusting, and being what she is supposed to be,
she ends up going along with what Jesse wants. After all, this is how she was
raised, this is what she does, but now she has a choice. Jessica is finally
feeling strong enough to spread her wings, she wants to be herself, true to her
feelings. That doesn’t fit with what Jesse wants, and she has no choice but to
make that perfectly clear to him
This is the first book in a trilogy. This is how Jesse and Jessica start out, how they became a couple. It is a complete story, but it leaves you wanting more from these two, because, what happens next is just as important as what has happened up until now
