Black Sheep by Meghan March, book one of the duet, audiobook July 2, ebook August 27

5 stars

Baaaahhhhhh! Okay, now that that is out of the way, because that ending made me want to throttle someone, well, I know who, actually, all three characters in that last scene, but I digress. Wait, no, not over it, because I know that scene will allow for the main man to step up and prove his worth and do his alpha-male awesomeness thing. Vague much? Well, yes, yes I am 😊

This is book one in the duet, and we start off with some mystery. Who are our leading characters? Why are they thrown together? Who are these side people and why are they so mean and cranky? What is all this subterfuge for? But, of course, the biggest question is, why don’t Drew and Cannon give into the crazy heat that sparked up between them the moment they met? They get around to it, but the heat between them radiates off the pages *swipes moisture away*

This is a duet, and of course that means, this portion of the story is complete in its own way, but there is no conclusion. And we end on an amazing cliffhanger. And it is so worth it to get to know these two, and I can’t wait to see how they make this all work out!
