I admit it, this book caught me completely off-guard with
the feelings, with the sadness, and despair that rolled off the pages. I didn’t
really read the blurb, my fault, but I think that turned out to be a wonderful thing.
I got to experience everything with Wren and Jordan. The absolute overwhelming
feeling of loss, and then transitioning into hope, and finally settling down
with their happiness. Kason didn’t slouch either, with his confusion, his
denial, his internal conflicts
These characters grabbed me, took me into their world, and
let me accompany them as they figured things out, and found their balance. I
loved every single second of it!
