Quinn made me have all the feelings for him. He had grown
up, but those same fears he had as a child, as a teen, are still there. He is
part of something, but still to the side, not in the inner circle. He wants his
own place so badly, you can feel his need rolling off the pages. Just when he
thinks he has something, he is thwarted, and again, and again, and again. He
just seems like he can’t win, so he takes what he can, and hopes everyone he
cares for is happy.
Luckily, eventually, Devra and Trevon, see what Quinn is
doing, call him on it. Of course, those two need to work out their own problems
first, and Quinn plays the part in making that happen. When they all finally
seem to have all they ever wanted, the shoe drops. Things that are well out of
their control threaten them, and in no way, can anyone fix this. As it seems
all is lost, a hero pulls through for them, and they finally get what has been
evading them all, seemingly, all their lives
Hot and sexy, emotional and touching, this book got better and
better the more I read it, and I didn’t want it to end!
