OMG, this book had me giggling on page 2, and teary-eyed and
full of “aww” by the end. Mia is just so much fun! And Max is her perfect foil,
her counter-point, the ying to her yang.
The dance they perform of thrust and parry was so fun to read, and even when
the fun was surface, and the feelings came through, they still complimented
each other so well.
For a book that clearly had a bad guy at the beginning, and
then another potential bad guy mid-way, it was such a relief to see that they
were just humans. Same frailties, same mistakes made, as anyone else.
And the cast of characters, they were hilarious! So fun, so
funny, such comic relief, and emotional support. Friends, jilted women,
co-workers, and Antonio, who could forget mentioning Antonio 😊
In other words, this book was a lot of fun, with some deep
emotions, and a fantastic read while getting to Mia and Max’s happily ever after
