Oh, where to begin with this epic story. We have been waiting, it seems, in real time, for what happens when Twitch and Lexi are reunited. You won't be disappointed, and you won't be bored. This isn't the same relationship they had when they were together before. This is new, this is edgier, yes, edgier, and more volatile, yet more settled, then what they had, before Twitch died.
It isn't easy, for Twitch or Lexi, because the memories of before, the memories of the time apart, it has shaped them. More scars, more pain, more experience, and they are different people now. Their friends, same thing. Not everyone, or anyone, is happy with how things played out, but they did, and now they do. At the heart of it all, Twitch and Lexi can't deny their attraction, anymore now, then they could before.
As painful, and as heartbreaking as parts of the story are, there is the undeniable heat, the raw sexual attraction and tension between them. It still scorches, and comes off the pages at you. It is stronger now, the emotional bond between them, makes it even sexier, and dirtier.
